Red Amaryllis

My holiday amaryllis was so beautiful I had to share a few pictures. I probably planted it a couple weeks late as it bloomed about a week after the new year....after my company had left.

It's my Birthday

(In this picture you'll notice a cat tail as Benji the cat was hiding behind me!)

My lovely friends and husband planned a special birthday get together for me. After the surprise mani-pedis the girls led me to a yummy restaurant to discover that all our guys were there waiting for us. What fun surprises and a fun birthday!

Early Christmas!

Krister and Sheri sent their Christmas gift to us up with Megan and Ryan.
It was a very special delivery!

I just had to post a picture of the gift under the tree because it was wrapped so beautifully! Thanks Krister and Sheri for such a useful and thoughtful gift:)

Visitors

Finals are over for both Ryan and Matt!



So Megan (my sister) Ryan and Cora came up to Boston for their first visit!
We played with Cora in my apartment, made food, watched movies, toured Boston, Cambridge, and Boston College.







It was so much fun to have them visit and Cora was an excellent little traveler!

Subversive Sugar Cookie Decorating

I decorated cookies with a couple of my girlfriends here in Boston the other day and had so much fun. Matt enjoyed eating my masterpieces. Unfortunately I only took a couple pictures so here are just a few of my subversive holiday cookies.

Birthday Bash!

After the big thanksgiving meal, which by the way was deeeelish, we were exhausted. This was awesome because we ended up having a huge slumber party at Shister's condo. (Sheri & Krister's celebrity couple nickname is Shister.) Ryan, Megan, Baby Cora, Matt and Jana all stayed at the Casa de Shister which was pretty fun.

The slumber party was followed by a relaxing day of leftovers, a giant puzzle, and Guitar Hero.

The day after Thanksgiving was also Matt's Birthday. Sheri made a special chocolate birthday cake in honor of this momentous day. Before we headed back to Boston (which took us 10hrs instead of 6hrs to get home because of traffic) Krister, Matt and I went downtown for a stroll down South Street where we waited in a super long line for a famous cheese stake which was pretty awesome. Matt and I think Philly is pretty cool.
